Our carriage tours are designed to provide patrons with fun or romantic rides around town, and are perfect for folks of any age. Whether you are just visiting the city and want to learn a little bit of the history of the area, or would like to treat your date to a romantic ride through Memory Grove, we can tailor a ride just for you. Drivers are allowed anywhere in the city and, if you desire, we will also be happy to pick you up or drop you off at any one of the local restaurants or hotels, just give us a call.

Carriages can fit up to 4 adults and 2 small children comfortably. There is a weight limit for the benefit of the horses and available seating is at the discretion of the driver. The main carriage stop is located on South Temple by the South Gate of Temple Square directly across from the Crossroads Mall. The prices below reflect cost from our main stop. If you are picked up elsewhere in the city or are extending the ride back to another ending point the prices will change.


City History Tour $80 - Hour ride* If you are interested in learning a little about the history of Salt Lake, this hour long ride covers just about all of the things there are to see in the immediate downtown area. Travel around historic Temple Square and up into City Creek canyon one of the oldest neighborhoods in the valley. You will see Ottinger Hall, City Creek park, and Memory Grove. The carriage then travels down Main Street past the old Water Clock, ZCMI building, Capitol Theater, and the Gallivan Center. (Sights included on this ride will vary depending where you are picked up for your ride. Feel free to ask your driver to point out some of the highlights of the city.)

Historic Mansion Tour $80 - Hour ride* View the beautiful 19th century mansions in the Avenues district of Salt Lake. Travel down South Temple and 100 South to see the architecture of the Cathedral of the Madeline, Governors Mansion, Kahn Mansion, Armstrong Mansion and the neoclassical Masonic Temple among many others. (Sights included on this ride will vary depending where you are picked up for your ride. Feel free to ask your driver to point out some of the highlights of the city.)

Memory Grove $60 - about 40 minutes* A perfect romantic ride around Temple Square and up into City Creek Canyon. Follow City Creek up to this beautifully landscaped state memorial park. Homes in the area date back to the turn of the century. Once inside the park you won't be able to believe you are only blocks from the downtown center of the "Crossroads of the West".

City Creek $50 - Half hour ride* This ride travels around Temple Square and up into City Creek Canyon. It is a nice way to get out of the traffic of the city, and during the summer months it is generally a bit cooler in the shade of the trees as the carriage passes some of the historical homes in the neighborhood. If you enjoy the ride you can always extend it up into Memory Grove Park for just a little extra.

City Ride $40 - Half hour ride* Take a ride around the main downtown area. Depending on where you catch the carriage you can see much of the center of downtown Salt Lake. Pass by the Capitol Theater, Gallivan Plaza, or the old County Courthouse. The trip will take you down one of the oldest Main Streets in the West and part of the Pony Express Trail. Some of these buildings were once frequented by such characters as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. (Sights included on this ride will vary depending where you are picked up for your ride. Feel free to ask your driver to point out some of the highlights of the city.)

Christmas Light Rides (Run Thanksgiving through the New Year) 2007 Season $50 - Half hour ride* A family tradition for many, choose between our half hour or hour long city light rides. Come down and enjoy the light covered grounds of Temple Square, Main Street, and the Gallivan Plaza to the sound of sleigh bells and caroling! Appointments are not necessary, however there may be a wait during busy times. Rides begin at the South Gate of Temple Square. If you choose to make an appointment for your group you will be instructed as to where you will begin your ride. Appointment times are limited. Carriages are available from 5:30 pm to 11pm (midnight on weekends) every evening from Thanksgiving through the New Year regardless of the weather. Blankets will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own. Dress Warm! Note: ride prices will increase on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.
