Carriage for Hire has a number of different horsedrawn vehicles
and props available for use. Whether you are looking for an
authentic stagecoach, or a "surrey with the fringe on
top" we have a vehicle for your needs. Carriages can
be trailored to any location or event. Drivers can provide
their own period clothing for a more authentic look. If you

Special
Events
Horse drawn vehicles have been provided for the Dickens
Festival, Candlelight, Gardner Village Pony Days, Ride with a Witch, Christmas at Riverwoods, and
numerous other events in the area. We have an early
1900's Brougham, Landau, two wagonettes, a three bench canopied surrey, covered
wagons, a stage coach and more. |

Parades
We are happy to provide parade transportation for dignitaries,
politicians, even Santa! There are up to 16 available
standard carriages as well as any of our wagons, wagonetts,
surreys, and other style vehicles. |

Funeral
Service
In the old days the funeral hearse was revered as the
way for the rich to take their last ride in style. Today
we provide the same service in our turn of the century
horse drawn hearse. We are able to travel to just about
any location.

Sleigh
Rides
Weather permitting, we do provide sleigh rides, but only on special request. Sleighs like this one are also available for hire for plays, backdrops, movies, or Santa Visits. This one has wheels installed for easy use.

Wagon
Rides
We have a number of wagons, wagonettes, and an open
surrey available for hayrides, or shuttle services where
needed.

Movie

Looking for local props or talent?
We have over 40 vehicles available, and will be happy
to arrange for any of your needs. If we don't have it
we can find it. Riding horses and personnel are also
available if required.

Mounted Security
Horses and POST trained security as well as other mounted personnel are available to hire for events. In addition, we are happy to offer assistance in missing person searches in the mountains and back country around the city. Please contact the office for more information.
